As I expected, I am the world’s least consistent blogger. I think it has been a month or more since my last post! Wow, time flies by! Thinking about this always reminds me of the Pink Floyd song “Time”:
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it’s sinking,
racing around to come up behind you again
the sun is the same in a relative way but you’re older
shorter of breath and one day closer to death…
I know, those lines seem a bit depressing. It is kind of inspiring, though, to realize that the days only get shorter as you get older! Time really does speed up the older you get. We only have a short time to make our mark upon the world, to leave something behind so we will be remembered…
